The Greatest Chapter? Of All?

My pastor is out of town this week with his family for some much needed R & R! (They deserve every minute of it!) That said, I have the most wonderful opportunity of delivering God's Word to our church this Sunday night! I can't wait!

We are going to hopefully capture some of the greatest Truths that are laid in (what I believe to be) the greatest chapter of the Bible: Isaiah 53!

I taught on this to our Sunday School class a few months back and feel the unquenchable urge to launch this onto Lakeview, this thought - Christ died for US! In this text we have the revelation of Who Christ is but what is even more soul-stirring is the VALIDATION of what He did! I can scarcely wrap my mind around this portion of the text - "It pleased the LORD to bruise Him." What love He has for us - we're totally undeserving!

Please pray for me and the church body - may Christ be lifted up and praised! Oh yeah, pray for Preacher Mike and his family as well - my hope is that they get rejuvenated!
